Quality green spaces and outdoor recreational opportunities are a fundamental requirement for sustaining a healthy, equitable, resilient community here in Courtown.

Today our remaining woodland, rivers, meadows and shoreline are also the cornerstone of our area's tourist and growing outdoor recreation economy, which supports employment and the economic prospering of families across North Wexford.

Established in October 2021, Courtown Woodland Alliance is a wildly diverse coalition of volunteers, local businesses and community stakeholders working for the protection and good stewardship of our precious natural treasures for the long term and for the benefit of the whole community. That’s why we work alongside each other to create, protect, and advance the nature-rich places that are vital to the well-being of all who live and visit here.  Explore our work to learn more.
